Ltay Bayındır (born April 14, 1998) is a gifted Turkish professional footballer. He plays goalie for Premier League giants Manchester United and the famed Turkish national team.

Ankaragücü
Bayındır made his Süper Lig debut for Ankaragücü in a 1-1 draw against Çaykur Rizespor on November 30, 2018.
Fenerbahçe
On July 8, 2019, Bayındır signed a four-year contract with Fenerbahçe. Bayındır became the first-choice goalkeeper over teammate Harun Tekin.
On August 19, 2019, he made his Fenerbahçe debut in a 5-0 victory over Gaziantep at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.
On December 6, 2020, he saved another penalty from Radosław Murawski in a week 11 match against Denizlispor, which Fenerbahçe won 2-0.
He made a total of seven saves in this encounter, which saw Fenerbahçe reduced to ten men after Serdar Aziz was sent off.
Bayındır was hurt in a collision with Serdar Gürler in the 69th minute of a 2-1 away defeat to Konyaspor on October 30, 2021. He was replaced by Berke Özer.
On March 18, 2023, Bayındır extended his contract, which was set to expire at the end of the season, until 2027. On April 17, 2023, he underwent lumbar hernia surgery.
Manchester United
Bayındır became the first Turkish player to join Premier League team Manchester United on September 1, 2023. He signed a four-year contract with the option to extend it for another season.
The transfer fee was reported to be £4.3 million. He made his FA Cup debut on January 28, 2024, in a 4-2 win away to Newport County, becoming the club’s first Turkish player.
International career
Bayındır represents Turkey’s under-20 team in the 2018 Toulon Tournament.
On November 9, 2020, Şenol Güneş called up Bayındır to the senior Turkish national team for UEFA Nations League matches against Hungary and Russia.
He made his senior international debut on May 27, 2021, in a friendly match against Azerbaijan.
