Carlos Henrique Casemiro (born February 23, 1992), also known as Casemiro, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays defensive midfield for Premier League club Manchester United and captains the Brazil national team.
He is regarded as one of his generation’s top midfielders, with defensive, ball-winning, and tackling talents. He was selected for the FIFA FIFPro World XI in 2022.
Casemiro started his career in São Paulo and rose through the ranks. He had 11 goals in 111 games as a midfielder for the club.
